Recently we’ve completed 3 separate Sea Ray Boat Projects at Epic Marine Audio. Perceived as one of the most genuine American brands Sea Ray has been around since 1959. The owners of these Sea Ray’s in particular were looking to improve the audio in their vessels and they came to the right place in Epic Audio. 
For these installs we used WetSounds speakers on the 32’ Sea Ray and JL Audio Speakers on the 54’ matching these powerful speakers with Fusion Marine Head Units for optimal functionality and style.

Princecraft Pontoon Upgraded at Epic Audio

Recently a Princecraft Pontoon owner trusted Epic Audio to get their boat summer-equipped and ready to turn some heads with a few custom upgrades to the audio system.  We added a few REVO 6 XS-W-SS  High Output Component Style 6.5″ Marine Coaxial Speakers from the good folks at Wet Sounds. We also equipped this Princecraft with Fusion Marine’s IPX7 NMEA 2000 Wired Remote for a nice low profile look that still delivers all the features you’re looking for.

One of the best performing marine coaxial speakers on the market, the REVO Series features a high power design to deliver incredible sound! Kicker KMC2 Control Unit

When looking for the next control unit for your boat or watercraft efficiency, power as well as size are something to seriously consider. Look no further than Kicker Audio and their Kicker KMC. Kicker’s compact KMC2 digital media receiver packs a lot of performance into an easy-to-install package. Ideal for ATVs, boats, golf carts, and more. This receiver fits into a standard gauge opening, so it’s a great pick when you want a lot of sound, but don’t have a lot of space to work with. 
The big LED display gives you the info you need, while the watertight, UV-resistant face and durable controls will stand up to the rigors of marine and outdoor use. The one downside is this unit will not play CDs. Although it does have a built-in amp supplying 25 watts x 4 RMS/50 peak x 4 channels. 
The Kicker KMC2 is equipped with the latest in bluetooth technology.

Carver Boat Gets and Epic Stereo, Night Vision, and More.

It has been a pleasure working on boats in Lake of the Ozarks because the outcome of joy that is endured by boaters while listening to your favorite tune as the sun sets to the west inside any boat. This boat that we(Epic Audio) worked on was a big success that included the custom installation of marine stereo equipment, navigation, night and heat vision and new radio.

What boat you may ask, it’s a 2005 Carver. A luxury boat that is now set up for pictures of the most epic sunsets.

 

New Touchscreen’s from Garmin were installed first.

Its internal 10 Hz GPS updates your position and heading 10 times per second. New Stereo Installed with Fusion Radio and WetSounds Amps and Speakers

 

 

Both back and front of the Carver yacht, we installed WetSounds speakers that are RGB Color Changing with colors and pattern changes that are remote controlled.

To lead the speakers, the customer had chosen to use the Fusion Radio as the unit to be installed by the steering wheel.

Then a new Garmin VHF radio was installed to communicate with other vessels in the area of Lake of the Ozarks.

Garmin offers communications and Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) designed to enhance convenience and safety for mariners worldwide. All include Digital Selective Calling (DSC), a global protocol that uses channel 70 to transmit and receive digital messages. VHF radios equipped with DSC can send and receive digital emergency messages, private calls and general calls and let you call attention to VHF calls by using stored Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) numbers. DSC significantly improves the chances of rapid rescue.

There are quite a few options when it comes to boat speakers that will last season after season. A top choice option that we suggest has an integrated color changing controls and can be controlled from a smartphone are these marine speakers from Wet Sounds.  These are very cool, sound amazing, and can be ordered with different faceplates.
